| Welcome!
I'm a research assistant in the Physics
Department at Afyon
Kocatepe University. My works involve researches primarily on
charged particle optics, coincidence experiments, and mass spectroscopy.
Find out more about those activities by following the links.
My research (as a member of the Electron
Impact Group and Laser Mass Spectroscopy Group)
focuses on the development of electron impact spectrometers for
the measurements of the ionization and excitation cross sections
and the development of computer simulations for charged particle
optics. The instruments and ideas often have applications in other
areas of physics too. Ultimately I am trying to understand and describe
the process in electron-atom collisions. This involves trying to
describe its fundamental constituents (and their interactions).
I mainly work on scattering theory, cross sections for ionizing
collisions, (e,2e) technique, and electron spectrometers. See the
other pages for more. We're located on the ANS Campus in the centre
of the city of Afyonkarahisar, in Turkey. It is one of the smallest
cities on the planet. I write very regularly about many of the things
I do (research and works). You're welcome to have a look. Thanks
for visiting!
I graduaged with a Bachelor of Physics Engineering degree at Hacettepe
University in Ankara, Turkey, in 2003, and I lead the effort on
designing new electron-optical devices for electron spectrometers.
After finishing my Masters of Science from Afyon Kocatepe University
in 2005, I was working with the development of electron-electron
coincidence (e,2e) spectrometer.
My academic research at Afyon Kocatepe University started in early
2005. Since then I have focused on characterizing multi-element
electrostatic lens systems and electron energy analyzers for electron
spectrometers. As a masters degree related project, I have modeled,
designed and assembled some specific designs.
