Simulations with charged particle optics package: SIMION 8.0

I have been thinking about writting a book and the title would be "Solving charged particle optics problems with SIMION". But, I didnot have enough time to do this, and also English is not my native language. Therefore, I decided to give the simulation results here. This page will also focus on recent instrumental developments in charged-particle optics. The application areas are being assisted by improved computer simulation techniques for design and optimization.

SIMION 8.0

SL Tools is a utility that provides various functions for manipulating SIMION potential arrays (PA* files).

Here's an example of SL Toolkit for lineer time-of-flight mass spectrometers.

User programs (.lua) in SIMION 8.0 allows to run trajectories for a large number of combinations of parameters in order to determine the optimal combinations.
